Why we exist

Trades hiring is its own discipline. The cultural fit on a jobsite is different to the cultural fit in an office. The wrong welder costs more than time, he costs the project. The right pipe fitter on the right shift can make a delivery date that pays the entire quarter. Generalist agencies miss those signals, sending whoever is on the database with the closest ZIP code and the right keyword in the resume.

Nationwide Trade Source was set up to fix that. We are a US permanent recruitment partner with consultants who have walked jobsites, swung tools or sat in a foreman's office. We talk the language, we know the trades, and we will not waste your call on basics.

What we do

We place direct-hire, permanent industrial and skilled-trades workers for US employers. Every candidate starts on your payroll the day they join, salaried or hourly. We do not run a temp desk. The desk is built around hires that show up, stay, and produce.

Who we work for

Our clients are US manufacturers, mechanical contractors, industrial maintenance organisations, energy and process plants, and commercial construction firms. Mostly mid-market employers with hiring managers who want a recruiter who knows what a TIG ticket actually means and what a 6G welder can do.

How we vet

Every candidate goes through:

  • Right-to-work verification
  • Reference contact, current and previous employer where possible
  • Trade ticket and certification verification (NCCCO, OSHA-30, EPA, AWS, journeyman cards, state licenses where applicable)
  • Background and drug-screen readiness check before introduction
  • MVR review where the role requires it
  • Pay expectations, shift availability and nearest jobsite captured in writing

How we think about a placement

A successful placement is not a candidate submission. It is the moment 90 days later when the hire is still on shift, still hitting his numbers, and still happy. That is the only outcome that matters.
